Modus Games released a new behind-the-scenes look at Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince, the return of one of gaming’s most beloved co-op adventure series. The third video in Modus’ Indie Access series examines the game’s frightful array of enemies and tricky puzzles ahead of launch on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Windows PC on October 8, 2019.
The new video shares an overview from Trine creators, Frozenbyte, on what makes Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince such a special experience, including the series’ debut of four-player co-op. With fully reworked combat, puzzles that dynamically change depending on if you’re playing single-player or multi-player, and a wealth of foes fueled by our heroes’ deepest fears, Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince is bound to be an unforgettable adventure.
Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince is a return to the series’ 2.5D origins and will deliver the most expansive Trine quest to date. Adventurers can enjoy Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince separately or revisit the entire series via the Trine: Ultimate Collection, which includes Trine Enchanted Edition, Trine 2: Complete Story, Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power, and Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince. The retail edition of Trine: Ultimate Collection will also include a world map, digital Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince art book, and the full series’ soundtrack.
