Spanish developer Novarama released UNSEEN, the first major update for hit futuristic ARPG Killsquad, currently available on Steam Early Access for Windows. Long queues of players flocked to their booth at PAX West, where the new update was tried, tested and praised by attendees, and Novarama presents UNSEEN to players worldwide.
Highly anticipated by the Killsquad community, the UNSEEN update introduces the biggest new feature that players have been clamoring for – the battle arena. Named Colosseum of the Unseen, this new game area comes with new rules and rewards aimed at veteran Killsquad players seeking an end-game style challenge, when it’s all about the kill. Those who dare to enter the arena will face hordes of monsters and, upon victory, will receive exclusive rewards as well as gain reputation with the Unseen, which will lead to further rewards in upcoming updates.
“We are extremely happy to be releasing the first ever major Killsquad update, which comes with features the most anticipated by our community,” said Game Director Dani Sanchez-Crespo. “We’ve been working hard since the release in July, to gather player feedback and UNSEEN reflects that. We’ve also expanded the team in order to meet the development demands and expect to swing into full gear with the new content in the coming weeks and months. Our vision is to use the Early Access period to communicate with players, test new ideas and finally shape Killsquad into a timeless action RPG.”
The Unseen update also presents a new vendor that appears randomly toward the end of missions, offering a selection of weapons, gears and upgrades. In addition to a number of bug fixes, the update brings two new end-game Colosseum contracts at Vector 110, 21:9 UltraWide Screen support, a Quickplay function and a variety of other enhancements.
