Blue Isle Studios, the studio behind Valley and Citadel: Forged With Fire, announced that its survival horror game Slender: The Arrival is available on the Nintendo Switch™ system. The horrors hidden within the mysterious Slender universe can now be discovered anywhere, as the summer is no longer just for exploring the wild and swimming in lakes – it’s also for getting stalked by nightmarish terrors itching to end your life.
Available for the first time on the go, scare yourself in the car or in a plane on your way to your summer destination. Just remember not to scream too loud or you risk terrifying the other passengers!
The only official Slender Man game, Slender: The Arrival puts you in the epicenter surrounding the enigmatic Internet mythos that has captivated and terrorized millions. The frightening Slender Man is described by eyewitnesses as a thin, unnaturally tall man dressed in a black suit with a blank, featureless face. Players are enveloped in a dark, foreboding world of sensory deprivation with a story fraught with terror, filled with haunting visions and audio cues that create a healthy dose of tension and paranoia.
In Slender: The Arrival, Lauren is in search of her friend Kate, who recently has become increasingly obsessed with the folklore of Slender Man. Was Kate’s disappearance the work of Slender Man? Use Kate’s forgotten flashlight to explore abandoned houses, creepy mines and dark forests to unravel the mystery – all while being stalked by the menacing presence of Slender Man.
Developed in collaboration with Eric “Victor Surge” Knudson, creator of the paranormal phenomenon, and written by the creative team behind the Marble Hornets series, Slender: The Arrival is rated ‘T’ for Teen (Blood, Violence) on Nintendo Switch™.
