​​​​​​​ShockRods, bombastic vehicle combat experience is on Windows

Green Man Gaming Publishing and Stainless Games announced the launch of the bombastic vehicle combat experience, ShockRods, for Steam on Windows PC.

The masters of vehicle combat, Stainless Games have gone back to their roots to deliver all the over the top action you could possibly need. Drawing inspiration from classic “kill or be killed” shooter greats of yesteryear, ShockRods is a 6v6 or 12 player free-for-all arena shooter – with a twist!

The titular ShockRods are fully customisable, technologically advanced vehicles, equipped with nitros and the ability to double jump, allowing for truly thrilling and action packed gameplay.

It’s an easy to learn, hard to master, high octane thrill-a-minute ride!

Originally intended to launch into Early Access in June, Shockrods now slams onto Steam as a full release with a wealth of features and functionality:

  • 6 playable environments – Arena, Dam, Shockball, Western, Snowfall & Summit

  • Multiple modes – Deathmatch, Team DeathMatch, Capture the Flag, Shockball & Golden Ram

  • Custom Lobby system

  • Full vehicle customisation

  • 6v6 team modes plus 12 player Deathmatch
