Publisher BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. and developer Counterplay Games have announced a brand-new content update for Duelyst, their ultimate tactical collectible card game. Scheduled for release later this month, the Trials of Mythron expansion will introduce two new mechanics and more than 100 new cards. Players can already get a sneak peek of the game’s upcoming cards during the current Spoiler Season.
Among other things, Trials of Mythron delivers the new Intensify Mechanic to boosts a card’s power as it is repeated in play to the board. The latest expansion also introduces a new card rarity, Mythron, as well as another new gameplay mechanic: Trial and Destiny. These cards will have Trials, a condition that must be met in order to play it, and a Destiny effect which will permanently augment the remainder of that game.
Trials of Mythron is already Duelyst’s sixth major expansion and will be released later this month.
Duelyst is a competitive strategy card game with intense, fast-paced, player-versus-player (PvP) battles. Featuring a myriad of card options to customize and build decks, as well as multiple gameplay modes such as Season Ladder, Gauntlet and Solo Challenges, Duelyst delivers endless challenge and fun to players of all ages.
