Thunderful Publishing and Megagon Industries announced the official release date* for the exciting mountain biking game, Lonely Mountains: Downhill, set to launch on October 23rd, 2019 on Xbox One, Steam (Windows, Mac), and PlayStation 4 at a price of €19.99 / $19.99 / £17.99**. Xbox One owners will also have the ability to play the game on day one through Xbox Game Pass.
“We’re super excited to finally have the finish line in sight. Thanks to all our Kickstarter backers for their patience and for staying with us on the ride. We’re really looking forward to see if our leaderboard times can last longer than a day.” says Daniel Helbig, co-founder and one of the three devs from Megagon Industries.
In Lonely Mountains: Downhill it’s just you and the mountains. Start from the top of a trail and explore your way to the finish line. Once you’ve grown comfortable with that, will you brave all the rocks, trees, and narrow corridors to speed through as fast as possible to set a new record time on the leaderboards? Or, perhaps you will be all about perfection and exploration, seeing what all the mountain has to offer while trying to perfectly reach the bottom with zero crashes on record. No matter how you play it, it’s always a joyful time!
We are also thrilled to announce a game mode that will make those soon to be familiar trails all the more challenging – introducing, Night Mode! How do you think you will fare on the tricky trails with only a headlight on the front of your bike to light your path? The challenge is real, but so is the excitement!
* Release date of Nintendo Switch version to be announced at a later date.
