Bad Yolk announced their first original IP. Main Assembly is a crafting game with a revolutionary freeform building system where you take on the role of a drone with the ability to design and build robots for your everyday needs! Powered by Unreal Engine 4 and featuring an advanced physics system with aerodynamics and robot destruction, Main Assembly will launch on Steam Early Access for PC later this year, with a full commercial launch planned for late 2020. Visit the Steam Store page.
In Main Assembly take on the role of a drone with the ability to design and build robots for your everyday needs! Create unique ways to overcome various challenges in single-player or jump into the Sandbox where you can craft and play alone or with other players. Challenge yourself and your friends to create the most exciting looking robot using a freeform crafting tool and modular parts, and then control them through powerful visual programming. You can also customize your robots by changing the colour palette and drone cosmetic accessories for that personal touch.
“Main Assembly is our first project, and we want to hit the ground running by wowing players with a wide variety of options in terms of construction and creativity while also providing sophisticated challenges that will put their creations to the test,” said Mike Paixao of Bad Yolk. “What we have now is already pretty amazing from a physics perspective and also a lot of fun to play with friends. We intend to polish and hone these features and are very much looking forward to player feedback to help us make the best game possible.”
