Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Isometric RPG gets new trailer – summer 2018 release

Global publisher My.com and developer Owlcat Games released an all-new trailer treating fans to new details on the adventure that awaits in Pathfinder: Kingmaker, the very first isometric computer RPG based on the highly popular Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. The trailer provides an exciting glimpse of the lore behind the legendary Stolen Lands, along with some of the new companions and game features, ahead of its release this Summer 2018 on Linux, Mac OS, and Microsoft Windows.

Become introduced to the rich universe of Pathfinder as a newcomer or explore famous locations familiar to any fan of the original tabletop game. Players are invited to go on a grand adventure and meet original companions and familiar characters, ready to accompany them on their arduous journey. Adventurers witness how their decisions affect the environment and the people inhabiting it. They establish a kingdom to bring peace, hope, and prosperity to the land or take everything for themselves and plunge it into darkness.

The game is being developed by a team of industry veterans, with a dozen years of experience (Etherlods, Silent Storm, Heroes of Might&Magic V, Skyforge) and love for pen and paper role-playing games. Assisting the story is narrative designer Chris Avellone, who previously worked on Fallout 2, Planescape: Torment, Divinity: Original Sin II, and many other well-known titles. To ensure that the Pathfinder universe is carefully transferred into a video game, the development team also works in close partnership and under the supervision of Paizo, the creators of the franchise.
