Bare Knuckle Development today announced that Super Mega Space Blaster Special Turbo is heading to Steam for Windows, Linux, and macOS as well as PlayStation®4 and Nintendo Switch™ on 14th January 2020.
Like the console versions the Steam version will offer an exclusive space blaster. The game will support a lot of different controllers including DUALSHOCK®4, Nintendo Switch™ Pro controllers, and Xbox One/360 controllers each with button image layouts in-game and optional vibration. The game also supports several USB retro controllers to help players get that nostalgic feeling and has a keyboard remapping feature for keyboard and mouse players. Steam Cloud save is included allowing players to keep their saves across different systems and operating systems. Steam Leaderboards are used to let players compete for high-score domination in 4 of the 5 game modes. Steam’s ‘Remote Play Together’ feature is implemented giving players the opportunity to play with other Steam players in the 3 co-op game modes over the internet.
